An animated, visual depiction of body dysmorphia through the use of different-bodied stick figures urging those who suffer to find beauty in however they perceive themselves.
Positives: 1) animation nicely done 2) sound track was strong
Improvements: 1) graphics on screen a bit longer 2) final graphic-web address should stand alone and should be a bit larger
Positives: The audio overall (music and effects) was used very well in the narrative - especially the sound effects - got your attention. The adding of the text representation of the subject's thoughts helped clarify the narrative. Have to add very well drawn and edited.
Improvements: While stick figures definitely helped in the drawing/execution/message of the spot, hard to know what you are looking for as far as "normal" and "dysmorphia" (though credit for trying to represent as such in how the different stick figures were done). Liked the use of color as opposed to all black and white -did it need more? Less?
Positives: 1) Sound design made the animation very engaging. 2) Using stick figures was a great way to have this feel inclusive and make it feel like this could happen to anyone.
Improvements: 1) Some VO to drive the story and inform the viewer, even if just at the end with the call to action would've helped amplify your message. 2) Ending/Resolution was a little confusing. Would've love to see the "a-ha" moment from sad to happy emphasized more.
