  • 4/29 6:01 pm - Story (Needs Significant Development) The biggest limitation of this piece is the lack of developed content. At only 16 seconds, the commercial feels more like the beginning of an idea than a complete advertisement. A strong commercial needs a clear message, purpose, and takeaway for the audience. Right now, the visuals are strong, but the story does not provide enough context or persuasion. Camera (Strong) The cinematography is the strongest part of this project. The footage looks polished, intentional, and visually impressive. It is clear that you have a strong eye for camera work and composition. However, strong visuals need to support a stronger message. Use your camera skills not just to create beautiful images, but to tell a more complete story. Lighting (Strong) The lighting and overall visual style are effective. The piece has a clean, professional look, which helps elevate the production value. Editing (Average) The edit is clean, but because the piece is so short, it does not have enough time to build momentum or develop a persuasive commercial structure. Consider adding more shots, more progression, and a stronger ending. Sound (Limited Evidence) The sound does not appear to be a major storytelling element here. Music, sound design, or voiceover could help establish tone and give the commercial more purpose. Overall Feedback This project shows clear technical ability, especially with cinematography and visual style. However, it needs more substance to feel like a completed commercial. The next step is to pair your strong camera work with a more developed concept, clearer product message, and stronger story arc. Right now, it is a visually strong start, but it does not feel fully developed enough as a complete commercial.
  • 4/21 7:41 am - The commercial featured exceptional cinematography. The audio selection and synchronization with the editing were highly effective. I suggest extending the duration slightly, as the current pacing feels as though the audio is building toward a climax, but then you cut to the final drone shot. Nonetheless, the overall commercial execution is excellent.
  • 3/9 12:32 pm - Really liked the drone shots and variety of camera angles! Quality camera shots and variety of angles that really made this 15-second really showcase the location. I do think something additional -- maybe a voiceover? not sure what -- might give it something additional to really make the commercial stand out. Excellent composition otherwise!
