- 4/9 8:10 am - Great job with the fundamentals of exposure, use of artificial lighting and composition. Good use of movement, letting the action guide the viewer while maintaining a point of view. Would love to have seen more as it feels like it cut off at 90 seconds.

Improvements: Could have been longer with a broader range of scenes. Lighting seemed inconsistent with several washed out scenes alongside uner exposed.

Positives: Nice job, Kate. Your framing is really nice on just about every shot. Way to go. Attention to that detail is crucial. There's a lot of diverse environments and demands on how to shoot in various venues. You did very well every time your turned on the camera. I'd say you have a very good camera.
Improvements: I"m not a huge fan of moving shots, but I understand that its a 2025 thing. Maybe a little more wide to medium to tight when appropriate. I need some natural sound including on all the 'water' shots. Excellent work on this, Kate.

Positives: Great job with the outdoor lighting—it really enhanced the natural feel and brought out the beauty of the environment. The production value was solid, and the slow-motion shots were a nice touch, adding drama and emphasis to key moments. Overall, the reel had a polished and professional look!
Improvements: Some of the interview shots felt a bit underlit and could have benefited from softer lighting. If you don’t have access to lights, try using windows (out of frame) as natural light sources—they can provide soft, even lighting and really help bring out the subject’s features.
