  • 4/25 8:18 pm - As someone who watches videos on different braid and two strand twist hairstyles a lot, I have to say that this was done very well. It was clear, had good shots to show what was happening, and is something that could be followed easily. I love that you did this as a topic and you executed it beautifully.
  • 4/1 1:03 pm - Overall I think this was a good video. The steps were very clear and the medium and tight shots used were good to give the viewer a clear picture of what to do and how to do them. At first, I wasn’t sure about actually numbering the steps, but then when you had to repeat a section, it did make it easier for you to say “repeat steps 8-11”. Nice job with the video!

Positives: The demonstration is easy to follow. The variety of camera angles demonstrates each step and keeps the project visually interesting. The voiceover helped reinforce what the captions and visuals were explaining and was well-balanced with the music - both elements can be heard but the voiceover was still clear.

Improvements: The font choice for the titles adds a nice touch to the video, but they could be slightly higher and either in a smaller font or across multiple lines so they don't crowd the bottom and edges of the frame. A small note, but having a slightly wider shot at 00:30 to get everything fully in the frame at 00:30 would allow the viewer to see everything being used.

Positives: I like the step-by-step process of the video. The camera movement is well done and helps keep the video moving. I like the variety of shots and the pacing of the edits so they are not too fast or slow. The music is at a good balance for the voice over and the video as a whole.

Improvements: The lower thirds are a little distracting, and I am not sure they are needed. Watch the lighting in the video so that there are little to no shadows in the video. Some of the shots are a little shaky, try to keep a steady hand, tripod, or other rig
