- 4/25 8:10 pm - STORY: This video definitely builds the anticipation for your homecoming game! I think that happens because of the way that you edit to the beat of the song and you include clips of some great tackles. SOUND: Great job mixing in your music bed, along with the sound bite at the end of your video! One thing that would have been nice to hear is a crowd cheering on some of the tackles. CAMERA: You include a great variety of wide shots but I do wish we got more close up shots of players. Especially when the whole video is building up and the cuts start to pick up! LIGHTING: You do a good job with lighting in a lot of your shots. There are some shots like 0:37 which are just slightly overexposed. You can tell how washed out the whites are. Also something to look out for is white balance. 0:37 is a lot more yellow than some of your other shots. EDITING: Great job with pacing overall! You do a great job creating the build up in your video by cutting on the beat and seeing that fade to black transition at 0:26. I also like how a lot of the tackles in your video happen to the beat of the song as well! Great job lining that up!
- 4/24 11:08 am - Great editing throughout! The song choice is very powerful and matches the hype of the video. The video starts off strong and cinematic and the natural audio was a good choice. The camera work here is consistently focused, framed and exposed well.A few crowd or other b-roll mixed in would have helped to hype it up a little more. Overall, great promo video!
