  • 4/24 1:36 pm - The first shot of the subject waking up draws you in, and makes you wonder what is going to happen next. Story wise, not much did happen next. So, consider what your goal is when creating the trailer - what is the story fully about and what do you need your audience to know that will make them know enough and intrigued enough to want to see the full film without giving too much away. Right now this feels a little experiential, which is cool, but not quite trailer like. Also, with the title, seeing what the green and red are about would have given an effective plot point to the story. You've got some good framing and variety, just push the envelope a bit more so that it strikes your audience and keeps them hooked.
  • 4/24 11:46 am - This was an admirable attempt, and it's clear there was effort put into the production. There were a few interesting shots that stood out visually, but overall, the story setup felt unclear, even for a trailer. While a trailer doesn’t need to give everything away, it should still give the audience enough to latch onto, a sense of who, what, and why. Right now, there’s just not quite enough here to fully grab attention or build curiosity about what’s to come. Keep developing your visual storytelling and think about how to hook the audience early, even with just a few key moments. You've got a foundation, now it’s about sharpening the focus and giving viewers a reason to want more.
