Entry Description
My 2024 Cinematography reel. All the clips and most emotions i've captured from the 2024 year. When putting this together I took the clips with the most emotion and feeling to help encapsulate the feelings we get from sports. I believe that the audience should feel the video not just see it. I want to show the emotions in sports and share a vision of what truly happens on the field, court, etc..

To elevate the cinematography, future projects should explore controlled lighting techniques and diversify content to demonstrate a broader skill set.
- 4/9 8:10 am - Nice use of focus, slomo and LUTS to make the footage look epic as well as the SFX to enhance the edit with the music. Interesting mix of different school footage, left me wanting to see a second minute to see more challenging shots that aren't so isolated. Following the action and knowing where to be is essential to high level sports production, show more of that next time.
- 4/3 3:09 pm - This reel showcases your strong cinematography skills. While it's limited to a number of different sports, the colors, the lighting and the camera movements capture dynamic action. That said, the reel would ultimately be stronger if it displayed a greater amount of situations and genres rather than just field sports.
