It brings an intensity with elements like the audio mix and the erratic nature of the shots that are following the subject. Have different voices and a mix of older and teenage voices adds some believability to the story as well. It makes your audience want to know what's going on and entices enough to want to see more. Well done.

The creepiness of the presumed villain, paired with the psychological thriller vibe, creates a really unsettling and compelling atmosphere. It’s honestly hard to believe this was produced by a high school student, the level of skill and attention to detail is next-level. If you keep creating work like this, you definitely have a bright future in the industry. Fantastic job!

Positives: Great job! You have really nailed the cadence of a horror/thriller trailer and have done a great job to master those beats, with some excellent music and sound editing, and a thoughtfully creepy atmosphere to match. Phenomenal lighting design and camera-work! The unsettling "skipped frame" look of the thread-man's movement worked well.

Improvements: The narrative feels slightly (likely intentionally) "vague" and could be expanded upon, just a bit (without disturbing the "teaser-esque" tone). Excellent job on your entry this year – there was clearly a lot of skill and talent put into this piece.

Positives: I like the use of color, monochromatic and red. Good use of shaky camera and close ups. Good use of sound.

Improvements: VO could be less monotone. Could use more shots of reactions on lead characters face.

Positives: Terrifying and awesome! The villain character was super creepy—in a good way—and definitely memorable. You nailed the horror vibe, and the overall look of the trailer really pulled me in. That character alone made it fun to watch.

Improvements: It might be even more effective if you held off on showing the killer until a little later in the trailer—build up that suspense and keep the audience on edge. Also, trimming it down a bit and tightening some of the edits could help give the story a clearer framework. Just a little cleanup and it’s there!
