- 4/30 2:26 pm - This PSA tackles a serious topic, and the opening street shot is strong, but it goes on a little too long. The text overlay works well and the visuals support the message clearly, but without audio and with limited shot variety, some parts feel a bit unfinished. Adding subtle sound design, mixing in more camera angles, and using simple transitions like cuts to black would build more tension and make the overall piece hit harder.
- 4/28 1:08 pm - Really nice work with the pace and the text over the street view. Your b-roll / objects definitely showed the importance of the message. I would suggest adding a few more shots to highlight the “elements” involved and heighten the tension between the before and after. There are really only two shots here (the liquor and the cars) and then the text, which highlights the basic lesson here but also leaves some production quality on the table and me wanting more for a film fest submission. Maybe use some editing techniques like cutting to black between your visuals and the text to really zoom in on the information, or add audio effects to point to the seriousness or impact of the situation. Keep up the good work!
