That said, as a trailer, it currently plays more like a short film than a teaser. We’re getting a clear beginning, middle, and end—which speaks to how well it’s crafted—but it leaves less room for the intrigue and mystery a trailer usually thrives on.
To add that sense of suspense and scale, consider teasing some larger threads to build tension and plant the idea that there’s something bigger at play, making viewers eager to uncover what happens next.

You have some great elements working together well here, with sound and shot selection, etc. As a trailer, it feels like we got a condensed story versus a teaser of what is to happen. Adding some other hints to the trailer, something like a glimpse of what happened to make the person fully trust Alana, other people this is happening to around the city/country/world, someone at the company behind Alana starting to give an order to sabotage for some unknown reason, etc., would give it a sense of 'something bigger is going on and happening, but you have to watch to find out'. As it is, this could be a stand alone short. Which was filmed well, and tells the story, but gives too much of a beginning-middle-end and not enough 'What's gonna happen?!' for a trailer.
