- 3/4 11:42 am - POSITIVES: Great choice of music to set an engaging vibe, and you integrated it into the story by editing on the beat. Slo-mo is works well on the clips that featured action. The jump cut/stutter works well to skip through a longer clip. AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: 3 shots in a row that are super similar :13-:18 and from so far away it's hard to tell they're different shots. The frame within a frame is interesting, but the placement and size looks random and sometimes just off-center which looks sloppy. Super slo-mo should be used intentionally for a spectacular play to highlight it. It doesn't make footage of a player walking more interesting, so use it intentionally as a storytelling tool. Some clips were so similar that it seemed a bit repetitive, and frantic overall, instead of energized. This might be a stronger piece if edited down to 1:00, avoiding those similar clips with the same opponents. Story needed a closing (i.e., team celebrations), rather than just ending by adding credits.
- 3/3 10:19 pm - Cool integration of natural audio with parts of the music. Sometimes the layering of multi shots added to the video and sometimes it detracted. Great concept but be deliberate with the shots your using when creating that look/effect.
