4/30 9:35 pm - Nicely done live, clean show. I would make sure the lead anchors eyes are on the top third line, those camera may be a bit warm on the white balance as well. Watch those audio levels, they are a bit all over the place.
4/29 8:05 am - In the tease there is audio from the b-roll playing and right when the anchors talk it totally cuts out. It would be nice to hear some natural audio underneath the tease. Same in sports. Just lower the b-roll volume so we can clearly hear the anchor.
The anchor 2-shot would look better if it was tilted down so there was not so much headroom and their hands are cut off on the bottom.
Lower thirds should be up longer. I had difficulty reading them in time.
4/7 12:52 pm - You are 18 seconds over the time limit for this category! Cool opening sequence that shows your school well. Anchors do a nice job reading. Great story about Cal- very touching. (make sure the background of the pictures you use are more blurry to offset the picture itself) Keep the audio to your b-roll for a better mood. Audio levels are all over the place- really need to make sure all interviews and audio of talking is at the same level. Sports- you showed highlights but we heard nothing- you need to talk over it and let us know what's happening! Girls basketball highlights froze? Sports audio is loud at times, then silent at times- gotta work that audio so it's more consistent. Graphics for announcements are cool! Weather side by side is a neat idea! Thin about adding some music to parts of your broadcast- might add a little mood as well as fill some dead spots where no one is talking. Keep it up and make sure you hit the required time!
