  • 4/16 10:15 am - The intro has a fun concept but runs too long—trimming it to 15–30 seconds would keep things moving. Audio is mostly solid, though the anchor mics are a bit hot, and visible mic cables hurt the visual polish. Tuck them in for a cleaner look. Anchor delivery could use more polish—hands stayed tightly clasped the entire time, which looks tense. Try resting them naturally on the desk and adding some facial expression to bring more life to the delivery. The cooking show segment felt out of place and tonally confusing—unclear if it was serious or comedy. If it’s meant to be a comedy, lean into that with clearer intent. Overall, solid effort with clean graphics, but it needs more focused storytelling—less like a bulletin board, more like a show with heart and voice.
  • 3/3 7:14 am - Neat concept for the intro, but a bit long (over a minute). Audio was pretty good though the anchors are a little hot. I would like to see the anchors work on what to do with their hands. Both of them spent the entire time with their hands clenched together. It is an awkward thing at first, but practice having them on the desk. Watch some professional newscasts to see that these anchors do. Also pay attention to facial expressions. The anchors seemed pretty zoned into the teleprompter and didn’t have much facial expression. I am not a fan of mic cables hanging down in front of people. Have them put them in their shirt. Are we also supposed to be watching the cooking show? It does not fit in with a newscast and I’m not sure if it is supposed to be serious or satire. Seems like some are trying, but the fake accents over acting it takes away from it.
  • 3/1 10:14 pm - I appreciate teh idea of Shepp's Show, but I think it is a little messy. Id love to see some real mics used with some lighting. Nice intro segment but it was pretty long, 15-30 seconds does just fine. I like your graphics, but I would love to see some actual stories being told. Announcements are great, but tell me something I can't see in a news letter, tell me about what makes this school or program or person so great.
