  • 2/24 1:04 pm - I really like that you create a relatable video with themes that your student audience can connect to easily. You take some creative risks with lighting and different camera angles. I do feel that you can really push for a stronger emotional connection when it comes to some of your shots. Like the scene where you're all standing in a circle and the video subject is looking awkward or lonely, how can you better convey that through your cinematography than just through showing them all standing in a circle? Those are the kinds of decisions that will really push your story forward and create a more emotional impact with the audience. Strong work though otherwise, and really great concept for people to connect to.
  • 2/21 1:46 pm - Creating a music video that delves into societal pressures is indeed an outstanding idea. The use of a montage to convey the narrative, along with the close-up scenes of makeup application and flickering images, is highly effective in communicating the theme and engaging the audience. To further enrich the video's storytelling, one suggestion could be to explore the concept of distorted self-perception versus how others perceive us. This could be depicted through contrasting visuals that show the internal struggles and external pressures individuals face, highlighting the disparities between self-image and societal expectations. Overall, this music video showcases creativity and insight into relevant societal issues. With its compelling visuals and thought-provoking themes, it has the potential to resonate deeply with viewers and spark meaningful conversations.
