Wrote and directed and filmed for the mind. A trippy, horror short film to mess with the sense of reality.

4/23 11:48 am - Ominous and well-paced with great attention to sound. In terms of camera/lighting, it was unfortunately often out of focus and underexposed. I assume the under exposure was meant to be a stylistic choice, but I think there are other ways to be "dark" than just reducing the overall exposure. Aside from the exposure issues, there was a lot of very well done and creative camerawork throughout. The eye blinking transition was very cool. This was certainly one of the more genuinely spooky and scary student shorts I've seen. Great acting and impressive storytelling!
3/24 1:30 pm - Unique camera shots, but try and mix them up faster. When you keep shots for more than a few seconds, the scene can feel dragged out. I like your concept of the beings that are incorporated for your dramatic feeling and pairing them with some scary sound bytes was a nice touch. Personally I felt myself loose the connection to the story with some of these dragged out scenes. Your ability to add in the effects of the portal was impressive to see, but I feel it could have been introduced in a more dramatic fashion. It seemed a bit rushed. Overall the video was pretty well done, nicely done. This category was a tough one!
