Three teens, Bryce, Lydia, and Stacy, magically switch bodies and have to live as each other for a day until they can figure out how to get back to normal.
Positives: Introductory shots did a good job setting up the story and the relationships. The combination shots helped us understand who became who after the switch. Nice showing them attempting to assume their friends' role for an activity. POVs were a nice touch. Dramatic lighting for the switch back.
Improvements: Continuity: they didn't use the spinner at the beginning, but they did at the end. There really wasn't any resolution, just a switch back. What did they learn assuming a friend's life for a few hours? Was there some humor in that?
Positives: Acknowledging the obvious Freaky Fridayness of the story was a nice way to pay homage to the source material while still making it a unique idea. The opening and first scene establish the story and characters well and there were more than a few legitimately funny lines. Very well directed. The pacing was also on point. There was a lot of plot fit into three and a half minutes!
Improvements: The storyline lost me a little when Lydia wins the boxing match and Stacy makes a decent looking bowl. Might have made more sense if they all failed like Bryce did in Mathletes practice. And I give respect for showing how the change took place in the first place and then was undid but the idea of it happening because of a twister game was a little thin and confusing. But I might be getting too picky due to the fact that there wasn't too much to criticize. Overall, great job!!
Positives: Great job quickly developing these distinct characters before making the body swaps. That was essential to this working. All the characters experience some sort of change by the end of the narrative after their experiences in each others' bodies. This looked really professional overall, very slick work!
Improvements: A bit of a nitpick, but I might add some cinematic hits as impacts during the boxing portion to enhance the sound design in that sequence. Really great film. Very fun and very impressive. Keep at it!
