  • 4/30 10:15 am - Great concept for a show. Production value was professional however the audio levels varied throughout the production. Interview questions were well organized and helped with the flow of the show.
  • 4/29 12:01 pm - Some inconsistent audio levels, the hosts and guests had very quiet audio at points. I like the Sound Bites idea of having conversation over a meal, but eating and talking into a mic just isn't conducive to making a good quality talk show where audio quality is critical. It seemed like the hosts and guests all realized that eating while trying to talk into a mic is not a good idea, so it didn't impact the audio quality very much which is a good thing. Good conversation, good set and lighting, good switching and camera angles. Hosts conducted themselves well.
  • 4/16 1:58 pm - Interesting approach to get into the conversation about Batavia Football. Hosts and guests have a good conversation and cover a lot. The music in the background is unnecessary. Well switched.

Positives: -Variety of camera shots kept this visually engaging -Fun opening theme song & logo -Hosts are warm with solid questions

Improvements: -Audio could use some work, not always crisp -Consider adding a close up of the food you're eating. Helps viewers who may not be familiar with the restaurant -Might need to counteract all the red on the screen with more neutral lighting. Depends on if you're going for that much warmth as an aesthetic choice

Positives: -Very creative name and concept. Food is a great way to spark conversation and draw in an audience! Fun ending with the guac/salsa question. -The hosts did a nice job keeping the conversation flowing and allowing the guest space to share insight.

Improvements: -Work on adding more follow-up questions to show active listening and thoughtful responses during the conversation. -The flag in the background appears to be falling slightly. Try to minimize distractions like this so the viewer stays focused on the content.

Positives: The chip and salsa framing is a creative way to engage both the guests and audience. Lighting is strong and creates an intimate, casual booth feel. Music choice helps reinforce the relaxed atmosphere.

Improvements: Add B-roll that reflects the topics being discussed to support the conversation visually. Include graphics identifying who is speaking along with their positions to help viewers follow along more easily.
