4/23 11:35 am - The music bed you added, while tied some scenes together, is not permitted in this category. Many many great shots and sounds, great intentionality. One thing I always tell my students is good stories are always about people. Your piece was more about the effects than about a person or the treatment they are getting, and how this room is helping them improve as a human. Like I said you did a great job with the audio and visuals, but it was like going to a movie with absolutely great special effects but little development of the characters. Mix a story in all of your sights and sounds and you will have something amazing.
4/1 1:11 pm - There is a music bed included in this news package which is not permitted in this category. This story needed some sound bytes to help tell the viewer what the story was about. The natural audio from the b-roll was good, but there was no story being told.
3/5 11:37 am - You presented beautiful shots of this new facility accompanied with great audio! I loved hearing all of the different sounds in this space- especially the feet jumping on the bosu ball. I think this video would have benefited from an interview or 2 to provide us context as to what the story is about. Is this facility new? Why was it built? How is it beneficial to students? Music tracks are also not allowed in this category.
