  • 4/29 8:25 am - Choice of B-Roll was mostly good, could have been a little more specific to what the speaker was talking about in the moment instead of general rehearsal footage for everything. The camera angles of the hosts and guests could have been improved by fitting the relevant people in frame and using rule of thirds and proper headroom, etc. Great choice of topic!
  • 4/17 8:13 am - Production value was good. The energy of the host and questions were good. The broll enhanced the production. Would of liked to see more follow up questions from the host.
  • 4/16 1:52 pm - Nice conversation with the cast from the show. Host was well prepared and conversational in his apporach. Enjoyed the drops of B-Roll in from the musical and how the host incorporated all of the cast in conversation..

Positives: -Great choice to include rehearsal footage! Helpful to see everyone in action and provides viewers with a baseline understanding of what the actors are working on -Polished host, you kept going even when you stumbled. Strong questions that kept conversation interesting and smooth with a big group, well done!

Improvements: -Consider making a graphic at the end or sharing a flyer for the show if they have one. Helpful for viewers to both hear & see the performance dates. -Audio could be more balanced

Judge 2

Positives: -Great energy from the cast and crew. It made the segment feel lively and engaging -The interviewer did a great job guiding the conversation with energy and keeping the discussion moving.

Improvements: -Start with an establishing shot to show the full group being interviewed so viewers understand the setting right away. -Make sure every VO has a clear purpose, and when someone first begins speaking, we should see them on screen to properly introduce the speaker.

Judge 3

Positives: Talent is clear and well spoken, supported by helpful B-roll. Interview questions are strong and give everything needed for a quick, focused segment.

Improvements: Add supporting graphics such as names, current question prompts, and show times to give viewers more context. Location of the interview is unclear, so clarifying whether the interview is backstage or on a set would improve visual understanding.
