  • 4/30 9:25 pm - The anchors reading off the paper really throw me, I would love for them to show more personality and talk to the viewer instead of the paper withy folded arms. Cool to see the retro footage of old, but I think it would be cool as a feature and still have a little bit of current coverage. I like the idea though, very cool to see the old stuff.
  • 4/29 8:04 am - Interesting flashback pieces. Zoom in on the anchors so that there is less headroom. Also, the crossing of the arms makes the anchor seem like he’s bored or physically cold. What was the point of the chili segment? Should have had some narration or made it a natural audio package. Continuity error after students of the week. Otis goes from crossing his arms to having one arm out and one up. Audio is nice and clear. Good levels too.
  • 3/6 1:18 pm - Opening sequence was cool to see old videos. It's very difficult to watch the anchor not looking at the camera and reading from his notes on the desk. The Mall story was creative. Can you get a tigher shot and then use cue cards for them to read from if you don't have a teleprompter? Several black flashes in your edits. The theme of the show was creative, but need to work on the technical aspects of putting the whole show together. You graphics that crawl on the bottom of the screen go the wrong way- start them from the right so they can be read as they come out. Are all the announcements read twice?! This takes up a lot of time on your show- can you use subtitles of the other language when one person is talking to avoid having to do everything twice? You have some good ideas- just need to work the tech side to improve overall quality.
