An 8 camera shoot of an act from Glenbrook North's Variety Show, Momentum. Production involved a week of rehearsals and run-throughs.
Positives: Thank you for allowing me to view and judge your video. Stage productions are one of the hardest things to video record because you don't control anything - including the lighting, colors, or audio. I think you did very good work. I like the different camera perspectives. Great work. Good audio.
Improvements: The one clip of the girl singing - she is a blown out high light. One or two closeups of someone singing.
Positives: -nice soft open with establishing shot -great job showing the entire stage with purpose so viewers can see all of the dancers /
Improvements: -try to keep the same pace throughout --some shots were changed every couple seconds, which is a bit too quick -try to avoid dark angles
Positives: The slash cams provide great alternative coverage to give us a great angle of the dancing Very well rehearsed camera cuts. and great live coloring
Improvements: In a previous video, i really think the LED wall or Projection screen should not be seen on the CUT because of the feedback, its very distracting and could be used to tell your story Using the Wide shoot too much as a crutch
Positives: Good audio mix with music track and vocals; Good job of camera close ups on the singers and good job of camera cutting, capturing the performance.
Improvements: With so many cameras this can be difficult, but the cameras didn't match by color or exposure. Lighting was not consistent and could be improved. The set design with a video screen displaying the camera shots was distracting and not ideal. Capturing video feedback most of the time.
