An 8 camera shoot of an act from Glenbrook North's Variety Show, Momentum. Production involved a week of rehearsals and run-throughs.
Positives: Thank you for allowing me to view and judge your video. Stage productions are one of the hardest things to video record because you don't control anything - including the lighting, colors, or audio. I think you did very good work. Great exposures and I like the camera above.
Improvements: Maybe one clip from behind stage or a clip showing the crowd.
Positives: -opening with a shot of everyone is a great way to set the scene -nice job transitioning to the singer in the beginning
Improvements: -try to focus on changing shots with purpose. What are you showing us when you change the shot? Sometimes changing the shot and it lacks purpose, can feel awkward to the viewer
Positives: GREAT CUTS, it was cut in time and musically. Great use of the tight shots. The Tight shots were hiding the feedback from the projection wall. really followed the music well.
Improvements: Over exposed lighting. lingered on shots for too long feedback on LED wall was not helping
Positives: Very well done - Great audio mix and well directed. Capture nearly all the the key performers at the right moments of the song.
Improvements: I would of like see some keyboard player shots and least one of shot of the backup singers. Overall great job.
