The world has been taken over by zombies two strangers must work together to survive.
Positives: This was so well done! You really benefitted by mastering the fundamentals here with clear, clean shots, a tight script, and solid editing. Everything was well balanced to create a really funny and effective short. I love the humor of the zombies and it was a hilarious joke at the end that these two guys will never be rid of each other. Very polished for 7 days!
Improvements: Watch your dialogue. Always go for emotion and character building to use that to propel the plot forward. If we set up that zombies are hungry during a certain time of that day, pay that off. Maybe you show your ticking clock to raise the action and intensity. Well done!
Positives: I like the opening credits of the film. They setup the movie well, and provide a strong setting. I like the dynamic between the two characters. Good job with the braking the fourth wall and talking to the audience. This script is well written and has some funny parts. Great ending. I think it is a good way to wrap it up with th quick end cut.
Improvements: The first zobie shot could have been wide then tight to make it even clearer. There are a times when the audio is not strong "shoot I fotgot my watch" Look out for shots that cut off their heads, have a reason for that. There are times during dialogue that you could cut to the person talking to see them talk and their facial expression.
Positives: The format of this video is great and by breaking the 4th wall, it made the story even more entertaining. The sound effects and music bed only supported the story. The camera work displayed a wide range of compositions and angles. The opening sequence was strong and helped set up the story.
Improvements: The lighting was over-exposed at points so that could have been improved on. The editing could have been quicker throughout to help communicate the emotion of the characters and what they were going through.
