As social media blurs the lines between genuine connection and digital illusion, they find themselves spiraling into a world where likes and comments replace real human interaction. Created in just seven days, this student-produced psychological drama explores the emotional toll of online validation, the fragility of digital friendships, and the struggle to find authenticity in a world driven by perception

Positives: Excellent transition from B&W to color and love the use of backlighting for that eerie glow. Very smart to desaturate the color correction. Framing tells its own story with the use of low angles close ups. A very surreal experience! Nice use of the Ari Aster score.

Improvements: I would have liked to see a little more dialogue so we can understand how the world is a digital illusion. I like that you left it open to interpretation, but we need to pay off the premise.

Positives: Good choice of music at the start of the film. It does a good job of setting the tone of the film. Strong transition from black and white to color. It was smooth and effective. I also think there is a good variety of shots in the film to keep the viewer engaged.

Improvements: It is tough to follow what is happening and why we are following this person. The story could be more clear. It is important that all of the details you are trying to portray are clear to the audience. At the end the music could fade a little slower and the sound of the birds could raise a little slower also.

Positives: The use of color and black-and-white throughout the piece helped convey a level of emotion and bring impact to the story. There were a variety of different shots and camera angles that displayed a level of skill. The audio and sound mix throughout was strong.

Improvements: The story took time to develop and was not very clear at the start. The editing could have been paced better to help move the story along.
