- 4/23 2:42 pm - The intro logo graphic plays way too long. I understand that you were waiting for the beat but start the song a little later so we aren't on a logo graphic for 13 seconds. However, this video is edited very well and is perfect for an intro to live broadcast! Great variety of different sports and different camera angles. The countdown is a nice touch.
- 4/22 10:39 am - STORY: Definitely a great way to showcase your school’s sports! I think you use a lot of great footage to get excited for the broadcast that comes after the countdown! SOUND: You do a great job mixing and transitioning between songs. I like how you use sound from some of the clips that you include (Ex: 0:28, 0:42). I think it’s a great addition along with some of the sound effects you used like at 0:34. It does sound like your audio 0:42 peaked when recording. It is a great moment that you captured with the cheering but make sure your audio doesn’t peak (You most likely adjusted it in this video, but you can definitely tell it peaked when recording). I do wish that we heard more sound at 0:36 of shoes running against the track. Something else to look out for is audio that doesn’t come out of both channels. The only place this happens in your video is at 0:55 (cheering for gymnastics). It only comes out of the right channel. Easiest way to tell if you have sound from both channels is to edit/listen back to the video with headphones. CAMERA: Great variety of shots from different sporting events! One shot I thought was underexposed was at 0:16 of the crowd. Great shot of bowling at 0:26! I appreciate the inclusion of the shot at 0:40, but I do think it is the least energetic shot in this video. I think this could have been a better shot if we actually saw their faces instead. LIGHTING: Overall you used lighting effectively at your locations! EDITING: You had great pacing throughout your video. You cut mostly to the beat of the songs you used but it worked! I appreciate all the different transitions that were used to move from different clips. I do feel like we sit on the opening of the logo from 0 to 0:12 for too long. I know that it cuts to the beat of the song, however, I would say you could start at 0:10 instead of having that long intro with the song.
