Entry Description
This is a short comedic scene we did as a project for our class. Our goal was to tell a complete story by showcasing our skills and creativity by producing a short film. This project provided us with hands-on experience in all aspects of filmmaking, from the script to final production, using DSLR cameras, microphones, proper lighting, and professional execution.

- 4/23 5:00 pm - The camerawork looks good, especially the use of shallow depth of field and rack focus. The audio is inconsistent at times - you might consider an ambience track next time. The music is fun, but maybe not quite the right mood for this. I'm curious how this would feel with an alternate soundtrack, or no music at all. The script could use some work - it feels like a first draft that has more potential with revisions. Good job making the story come around full circle and wrapping up nicely.
- 4/23 10:38 am - I really like the editing and use of focus in this film. I thought the shots were done well. I liked the concept. I think the story could've been a little stronger. The first time I watched it, I didn't see that he pranked them. Maybe a closer shot would've worked better for the prank scene. One technical issue is the sound for the actress with blond hair. The background noise is very loud in her shots and is distracting. I can see that the actress with the curly hair has a lav mic. I would have shot all of her scenes consecutively and then given the mic to the other girl for her scenes.
- 4/21 1:27 pm - Music selection works well with the images you recorded. Good variety of different camera angles throughout the video. Editing is well done. Keep producing more videos.
