You just talk about how bad traffic is but never really tell me why (other than maybe kids looking at their phones) talk about a lack of exits, or 2000 kids all exiting at once etc. Opinions are always part of a story, but I felt like your story needed to go a little beyond the opinions.
I didn’t feel like your interviews really added to the story because they lacked depth in content (dean says if he wasn’t out there it would be worse he should go deeper than that).
Your natural sound of the cars driving by became redundant again find some ways to make the broll and sounds be more diverse, put a mic on the dean as he is directing traffic to hear what he is shouting, show me some students sitting in a car frustrated that they are going nowhere. You have a good handful of the elements you need, just take care of the details and the story will come together better for you.

Anytime you do an interview with someone, you need to make sure they are mic’d up - whether it’s a lavaliere or handheld, use a mic. Put a mic on the Dean while they are out in the parking lot directing traffic so we can hear how he is directing traffic. The natural audio from the parking lot footage is good, but it doesn’t really do anything to help tell the story or to help move the story along.

For your interviews, I would suggest that your interviewees not look at the camera nad look towards the empty space in the frame. However, I love that you captured a variety of perspectives (adult and students and traffic control) on this topic. Since this is a natural audio news package, I wanted to hear more natural audio. We heard many cars driving by. What other natural sounds could you have captured to support this story?
