- 4/25 7:26 pm - STORY: I think you do a great job showcasing the team and their plays. I think we need more close ups to form an emotional connection with your video! SOUND: You include a lot of sound from the clips that you use and I think that’s okay. But I think if you do include this sound, make sure that it adds to your story. A lot of times we hear wind in this sound and the audience doesn't really need to hear that. However, you do a great job mixing in the b-roll sound with your music bed! CAMERA: You include a lot of different shots with gameplay that consist mainly of wide shot and medium shot. I think it would add to your video if we saw more team interactions and reactions to certain plays, and specifically close up of these. Your audience will form a much closer connection with the people they are seeing in your video! LIGHTING: You do a nice job working with lighting. I can tell that as you were shooting it was getting darker. One thing to watch out for is white balance. Your shot at 0:36 is a lot more yellow then the shots before and after it. Make sure it’s consistent in your cameras if you use multiple. If not, it can be as simple as color correcting to get it to match the rest of your clips! EDITING: You pacing is okay at times. I would make your cuts tighter and cut on the beat. You have such a fast song, and soccer is a fast sport so it makes sense to cut fast in this video. For example, the opening shot is great but I would cut it at 0:03 on the beat of the song.
