- 3/13 2:25 pm - Well tracked - you sounded confident and entertaining. The shots were solid, the story was fun. I thought the quality of the story was excellent. The soundbites were framed well but I wouldn't have had two moving pans back to back in the beginning. Fewer moving shots would have been nice. Overall, nice job!

Positives: - I liked how you got both experienced and student artists to talk about the value of this event. Great perspective and choice of soundbites. - I think you wrote this story well. It flows from beginning to end.
Improvements: - Your visuals didn't add much to the story. Instead of constantly panning, you need way more steady shots that are wide, medium and tight looks at the event. I found it difficult to follow. - We need natural sound to bring the viewer in. Let them hear snippets of the interactions between artists and people at the event. This helps the viewer keep their attention on your story.

Positives: -Great use of interviews to tell the story interview subjects well framed
Improvements: -I would suggest starting stories with characters to make it more personable. For instance, Sarah Michelle was a great interview subject... if you would've had video of her working you could've started the pkg with that, to personalize the story... then you could open up to the event and paint a full picture of how it works, etc --This pkg could use some natural sound as transitions.

Positives: I appreciated the angle of this story, focusing in on the unique opportunity at this event for students to sell next to professionals. This was more engaging than just an overview of the event. Nice script writing. It described the benefits of selling next to professionals in an exciting way, and I loved hearing the students' perspectives.
Improvements: While I appreciated the angle of your story, you could've strength the focus by hitting viewers with this right at the beginning of the package. A stronger lead would have helped, perhaps "Warrior Con offered Main West students an exciting opportunity -- a chance to sell their creations right next to professionals." Some of your b-roll shots were shaky, and the first two -- with no event attendees at the booths -- were not the strongest.
