On Deerfield High School's flagship newsmagazine "Warrior Wakeup" we meet a cancer survivor working toward developing a cure, then we journey into a local music store in town with deep roots, and finally, we are treated to an irreverent comedy following the rapid transformation of a good kid that suddenly needs to get over himself. All this... and few more surprises on WDHS' Warrior Wakeup.

Judge 1

Positives: nice open! first story was a wonderful choice and done with great sensitivity. nice editing as well. very professional work here.,, great storytelling. i also like the way the stories are shot! i like the moving video in the mr. deerfield box. story was cute, too.

Improvements: an on cam tag after first story would have been nice for a transition to next story... then you change anchors to make a clear cut between the mood of the two stories. would have been nice to see a little more of gand.. could have finished story with a bite from him and then some broll and music to tie it all up. mr. dhs story was cute, but a little long.

Judge 2

Positives: * Your anchor was engaging. * Good story on the struggle with cancer and how important it is to inform children.

Improvements: * The stories were more artistic than news stories. I wasn't sure what you wanted me to take away. * I would suggest that you shorten your stories. Many went on a little long and provided lots of random information.

Judge 3

Positives: Great use of visual dynamics. Great story on Cancer!

Improvements: May not need to hold scripts...looks scripted.
