News package on Eisenhower's Express Show Choir.

Judge 1

Positives: Nice lower third graphic for first sound bite utilizing musical notes admirably. The background where the SOTS were captured added a good deal to the visual. The young man in pink SOT did not have a lower 1/3 ID - stay consistent if you can.

Improvements: Audio at top is way too hot. The focus on the wide shot at top is a bit out of focus.

Judge 2

Positives: You had the choir sound up full at the start. The interviews were done nicely.

Improvements: More and varied shots of the choir. Show b-roll shots of the choir director working with the choir during her interview.( A reversal shot would be nice) Longer sound up full of the choir.

Judge 3

Positives: Loved seing the video of the show choir! Nice use of a couple of different performances. Good variety of sound bites, from teachers to students. I've actually seen the Eisenhower Express! They have a lot of heart and soul in their performances!!

Improvements: Your tracking (narration) was smooth, but I would have liked to have heard more excitement in your voice! Your subject matter, the choir, is exciting and dramatic - we should hear a little more of that in your voice - try smiling when you read! It really makes a difference! :-) Be careful with your editing, especially when you have musical performances. When you are interviewing someone, have the background music be consistant throughout the entire interview. Nice effort!
