Entry Description

Stop-Motion Animation of Play-Doh.

Judge 1

Positives: Very nice animation. The opening title is extremely well done. Your characters are interesting especially the starfish and the flower.

Improvements: Try to develop a story. You have some excellent animation, but it would be effective to have interacting characters or a narrative story thread to tie your vignettes together.

Judge 2

Positives: Has a good sense of a child at play. Play-Doh is always fun.

Improvements: Music didn't have much to do with what was happening on screen. With such a simple a premise, it could have used much more fluid animation.

Judge 3

Positives: Delightful idea. Love moving from one song and visual to another.

Improvements: I like seeing the PlayDoh containers in the background for the beginning, but wish that you had tightened up your shots of the clay being formed or animated. Some of the animating seemed sluggish... watch your pacing, speed it up a bit.
