Metea Valley students visit Granger Middle school to show them the exciting field of Culinary Arts.
Positives: Nice B-Roll shots to go with the sound bites/narrative. Nice close utilizing all of the kids.
Improvements: Credits at top - traditionally they go on the end - but either way - they should have had a shadow to make them more legible. The tilt-up to the chef off something he's carving is way too slow - it should have been sped up just a touch.
Positives: Walking standup at the end was nice. Nice up beat musc under the whole spot.
Improvements: Lighting could have been a little better on some shots. There was too much time from the start of the spot untill the first sound bite. Show a quick location shot of the school at the begining and say where it is located.
Positives: Loved the use of music to keep the story flowing. Nice editing - good variety of shots to help illustrate your story. Cute ending :-)
Improvements: I love music, but be careful with your levels! You don't want the music to drown out the voice track - it should enhance the track, not compete with it. There were a couple of times when your chef was explaining his technique. I might have tightened up the editing to have his sound come in a little sooner to help keep the flow. Really good effort!
