Entry Description

Mario is a 22 year old immigrant who came to this country at the very young age of 6. The documentary informs viewers of the struggles an undocumented immigrant goes through.With only 5 minutes i tried to portray his story the best possible.

Judge 1

Positives: Nice tight shots. Nice slow motion to add intensity.

Improvements: Lighting needs help. Don't like him sitting on bed for interview. Music distracting at times.

Judge 2

Positives: I liked the multiple cameras in the interview with Mario; good levels with music.

Improvements: I would have covered the focus issue at 3:21 with b-roll; black levels on the different cameras didn't quite match.

Judge 3

Positives: Good closeups. Interviewed real immigrant.

Improvements: Distorted sound. Need better lighting in some of the shots.
