Judge 1

Positives: This is a tough subject to have to report so I immediately have respect for the attempt to do so. It was a poignant piece that used photos of Brianna tastefully.

Improvements: An ID for the reporter at the end would have improve the piece. A graphic re: how one could help or donate would have improved the piece.

Judge 2

Positives: You used the photos you have of Brianna in an effective way zooming in and out. You let people know how they could contribute to her memory.

Improvements: Your interviews were shot in shadow or not white balanced. You should have lit the interviews better and white balanced the camera. You should have done a graphic full screen of how people could contribute to her memory.

Judge 3

Positives: This was a very moving story. The use of several different sound bites helped enhance the story. The editing was smooth and helped the story flow.

Improvements: The use of music could help enhance the emotion in the story - just adds a nice extra touch. The stand-up close at the end of the piece felt just a little stiff - maybe a little walking at the beginning and then stop for the last part of the stand up would help. Very nice work!
