Entry Description

Excerpts from a video on how to be an average individual. Step by step process explaining the process of becoming average with some humorous happenings along the way. This highlight reel was edited down to fit the category maximum running time.

Judge 1

Positives: I enjoyed the concept of teaching people how to be average. I also thought the editing was very good.

Improvements: The group shot that had a bright outdoor scene in the background caused the people to be much too dark. Needed to be staged differently. Humor is tricky, and although this video had a few high moments, it also fell flat a couple of times.

Judge 2

Positives: Funny video. Good dialogue.

Improvements: Audio was rough in parts. Use less jump cuts.

Judge 3

Positives: Good shot composition your framing was done well. Good mix on your audio.

Improvements: Most of your shots look clean but always make sure exposure and white balance are even and dialed in. Make sure your timing on your edits goes well. Sometimes sitting too long does not come across as funny, it looks out of place.
