Entry Description

This cooking show produced by our TV Production class features local restaurants preparing their signature dishes.

Judge 1

Positives: I like the concept of localizing what is a national show concept. The staging and camera shots are very good.

Improvements: It's hard to judge how well anything is demonstrated in this video because we never actually see a recipe demonstrated.

Judge 2

Positives: It looks like a really good show to watch. The editing and shot selections flow very well.

Improvements: The judging guidelines for this category, "Demonstration", suggest that I should have received clear instructions on how to do something. I don't feel I got that from this video. It looks like a show that I would like to watch myself sometime, but for this category I think it would have been better if you would have picked a 3 minute or less segment of a show that specifically demonstrated how to do something.

Judge 3

Positives: Well composed shots. Good shooting and editing. The show seems to flow very well.

Improvements: This while it was well produced is not really a how too project. We never get to see any one dish get made from start to finish. Always make sure you follow all the instructions and guidelines for a project.
