Entry Description

A movie trailer about a group of high school boys that have it all but choose to rebel.

Judge 1

Positives: Music and Narration was Good.

Improvements: Did not get a good feel for the story. Did not like the camera work and how it was shot. Effect looked more like bad camera work than deliberate.

Judge 2

Positives: I want to see more :-) Good pace, good edits. Good energy. You kept it moving. Nice! I like the night time shooting. Works well to show an "after dark" vibe.

Improvements: Camera work could be improved. Handheld is great if it's done right. Smooth out some of those moves. Sloppy handheld makes it feel cheap or hurried. Makes it feel like more of a doc than a movie. Get in there with the camera. Too many, if not all wide shots used. Zoom in or move the camera closer. Show some detail.

Judge 3

Positives: Good choice of music. Dark shots / exteriors help to create the mood.

Improvements: Camera shots blurry, too shaky. Don't really have a concept of what the movie is about.
