"Fetch", produced by Alex Kiessling. Hand drawn frame by frame, using a stylist pen/Bamboo tablet. Fetch depicts the playful movements and joy of a dog running and leaping for a tossed bone.
Positives: Good animation. You captured some dog characteristics very well.
Improvements: The dog run and jump are impressive. Start to study some professional animation and watch how similar actions are performed. I.E. how does Mickey Mouse's Pluto run? Read the book "Disney Animation: Illusion of Life" by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston. These two masters of animation discuss many concepts that will be helpful to you as you develop your animation skills.
Positives: Great use of different and varied camera positions and edits. Most motions were natural and well done. Dog was adorable.
Improvements: Some animations were a bit weird, such as the dog running, it just didn't feel quite right. An added simple background could have helped.
Positives: Beautiful job with title and wonderful dog movements. You KNOW this character and have the talent to capture the motions well.
Improvements: It would be great to use this character in other more elaborate animations.
