Entry Description

"Hunting with Chuck", produced by Noah Goetz. Hand drawn frame by frame using a mouse. Chuck is outsmarted by the fearless hunter.

Judge 1

Positives: Great characters. I especially liked the squirrel. The visual story worked very well. You told your story without saying or writing a word.

Improvements: Incorporate more movement into your project. Try changing the camera angle. Use closeups to get expressions, etc.

Judge 2

Positives: The Squirrel was cute. The story was easy to follow.

Improvements: Nothing really stood out, or really strove for anything more than what it needed to be. Jerky and unnatural animation certainly didn't help.

Judge 3

Positives: Nice idea. Good color scheme. Music works fine.

Improvements: Give us a little more development. Take it further. Try composing your shots using rule of thirds.
