Judge 1

Positives: Excellent illustrated planes. Great multiplane (not multi-airplane) work in the opening. This creates a sense of distance and depth from one plane to the next. There is a good variety of camera angles that help to develop a feel of urgency as the fighters attack the bombers.

Improvements: Develop the story a little more. Who is on the plane that crashes? You developed a feel of motion as the bomber is crashing at 0:33 by adding clouds, blasts, and other elements. Do a similar things at 0:19 and the first part of the fighter at 0:23, This is the only part of your project where you have lost the sense of motion.

Judge 2

Positives: Nice use of layers, and establishing shots. Loved the sudo 3D look of the planes.

Improvements: The plane crashing into the water didn't seem quite right, if it did crash nose first, it more than likely would have landed on it's back rather then it's belly, before being split in two or more pieces. Rather sudden change in sky color was distracting and unnecessary.

Judge 3

Positives: Nicely drawn planes and backbround. Good sfx. Well composed shots.

Improvements: Give me more at the ending. I kept waiting for something to happen. Either give me something I didn't expect or give me statistics on downed planes.
