Entry Description

The movie trailer tells the story of a girl's plan to kill her parents in order to have a party. Little does she know that they may not be fully dead.

Judge 1

Positives: The music selection and opening graphic worked well to setup the trailer. Use of shadows and lighting added depth to the production. Shots were clean and well thought out. Great Job!

Improvements: I felt the trailer lost momentum midway through the clip but then ended well. It felt like it needed a little more information on the characters and story.

Judge 2

Positives: Love the opening shot of "blood". Great choice of music. Shots were "thought out" - Good

Improvements: Lighting was good overall. A few shots could be less flat. I did not care for the main actors voice over... This is not a technical thing, just my preference.

Judge 3

Positives: The music& sound FX were very appropriate, suspenseful. Shot selection and framing was well executed.

Improvements: Lighting was flat in a couple shots, could've been more sculpted / suspenseful. A couple of the edits looked choppy / sloppy. Not sure if it was intended but if so it didn't work.
