Judge 1

Positives: Duality is an interesting concept. The beat edits are very good.

Improvements: Some of the shots are soft in focus (i.e. picking berry from tree). If this is intentional, it looks like a mistake. There appears to be no reason for this. The box video in black and white superimposed in the corner of the frame is too small. It is hard to see what is going on during that footage and how it relates to the story. There's a lot of walking around. I think more specific information/events on screen would bring out more of the story.

Judge 2

Positives: Nice choice for talent - both actors did a good job. Nice pacing with cuts starting at 0:32 to girls jumping apart on the couch. Nice layering throughout. For example, the girl with her head on the tree.

Improvements: Most footage at the beginning and end was too dark - try bringing your iris up, or changing the filter to add more light. Liked the concept of the upper third video superimposition, but not too sure how that impacted your story - opacity was brought down too much, so I couldn't see what was actually going on in that video. I'd like to see more of a story entwined... Possibly separated by footage of an actual singer. This would help speed up the editing pace. Would also like to see a key at the beginning and end to credit the artist.

Judge 3

Positives: Good job editing to the beat. Outdoor shots were pretty - good close-ups.

Improvements: Long intro. Lots of headroom.Day dream effect was difficult to see, which made it difficult to understand the story. Maybe dissolving to those shots would be better.
