Judge 1

Positives: I like the original song. The fish eye effect is nice. (i.e. The side shot of musician and keyboard.) The editing is pretty good.

Improvements: The opening is too long (nearly a quarter of the video). Condense the mundane stuff and get to the music quicker. (Editing manipulates time and space.) The shots are too long. For example: Quick shot of alarm. quick shot of guy stretching. Quick pants shot. Quick brushing teeth shot. Quick shot opening laptop. Use dissolves may to help establish the condensing of time. The video needs another layer. The studio/keyboard stuff is nice but add some other layers of visuals to better tell the story. A layer or two of the musician's life so we can see The Way He Is (Are).

Judge 2

Positives: Creative camera angles with great beat editing. Good overall feel. Nice use of s/fx and nat sound at the beginning. Good choice for talent. Most technical video features were well done!

Improvements: Video seemed a bit long... Could've wrapped another story in when talent was mixing music. Would like to see a stronger transition between intro and actual music video. Liked the key at the end, but would like to see more of a music video style key at the beginning and end to inform viewers details about the song.

Positives: Creative editing - fit song well. Cool camera angles and lighting.

Improvements: Very long intro - didn't fit the pacing or style of the rest of the video. An opening title would make this video look more professional.
