This is an episode of the animated comedy series "Creative Services". This is how the very first Christmas went down for Creative Services. Produced by Seamus Coughlin and Lino Mogorovic.
Positives: The animation, editing and audio were amazing. A Very good job. Really enjoyed the humor tied in with the great technical aspects. The fact that you thought to change the field of focus in an animation shows you gave your work a lot of thought and took the project seriously. The voice overs were very well done.
Improvements: The ending with the book was a bit odd to go from animation to "reality" and the way this was cut, it came across as abrupt. While the technical aspects of this were outstanding, they were also helpful to overcome a general lack of humor in the video. I understand it was dark humor, but through the script I think it could have been funnier. Ironically, I may have just been distracted by the impressive look of the video.
Positives: I'm a fan of South Park and the "simple" animation. I think they captured the feel without the animation looking amateurish. The audio track matched the action quite well. There was a nice unexpected payoff at the end. I liked the jump to the live action concluding the animation piece. IT gave the video a bit of polish.
Improvements: I never got a real handle on the story line. There needed to be something that tied it all together. Some elements felt random. It could use some more humorous moments, either jokes or sight gags. You are only limited by your imagination when working with animated characters.
Positives: Everything worked well...the sound was just amazingly edited...nice rack focus at end in bedroom scene...everything clean and sharp
Improvements: All good
