Judge 1

Positives: I liked the editing and motion cuts with the talent on the stage. The talent on stage was quite good. Good job with lip sync and movement. Overall, the editing was solid. When they occurred, the beat cuts were awesome.

Improvements: Regarding the storyline, I keep asking myself who is the guy in the hat? Why is he there? How does he link to the story and song? Why does he have the hat on sometimes and sometimes not? What was he holding on his first shot? Maybe clarify his role better. Composition was pretty good regarding the talent on the stage. A few minor focus and movement issues. Needs another layer of visuals to enhance the storyline.

Judge 2

Positives: Nice variety of footage. Good use of sound effect/nat sound at beginning. Well done - technically throughout. Nice job giving the video an old school vibe.

Improvements: Didn't understand why you chose to insert black and white footage at the end - usually that's used to flash back to the past. Might make more sense to use that at the beginning, and transition to color. Story between talent was a bit unclear... Didn't know how men were related to one another. May be better to include a graphic with song details at the beginning and end for viewers.

Judge 3

Positives: This was fun and captured the mood well. Great use of layers and close-ups. Black and white was a nice touch at the end and made sense.

Improvements: Seemed like there was a cut in audio around 1:22. Audio/video sync issues throughout. The visuals got a little boring after a while since it was only one setting.
