Entry Description

An excerpt from the Eurythmic Dance Company's performance of the piece titled "Creep". Produced and directed by Camille Suknovich. Submitted to the Chicagoland High School Video Festival 2013.

Judge 1

Positives: All the cameras did match and seemed to have good exposure. Camera placement was good.

Improvements: Needed cut the camera shots more often. Stayed too long on one shot or angle. Also, there were very few close ups that may have shown the emotion of the dancer.

Judge 2

Positives: Good use of dissolves to go with the music. The pacing of the cutting of the show was good.

Improvements: I felt some shots were a little too wide. A couple of times the shots were out of focus. However, I know how hard it is to keep focus in blue light.

Judge 3

Positives: Interesting. Overall fairly good job of directing. Good mixture of different camera angles.

Improvements: Maybe use more Close-ups especially during the emotional parts of the dance.
