This is a clip from the 4th quarter of the Blackout game (boys' basketball). Directed by Daniel White. Submitted to the Chicagoland High School Video Festival 2013.
Positives: Good camera direction and good camera work with close-ups on the player shots; Good job following the action;
Improvements: Commentary could have less color comments and more play-to-play comments - name of players as they make shot attempts.
Positives: Liked the cutaways of the bench and the stands. You kept the pace of the going with your cuts. You had a sence of when you needed to stay on a wide shot and when you could cut away to a closer shot.
Improvements: I was a little freaked when you inserted the graphic just before the free throw. It was such a good key that at first I wondered who the 6th man was. Don't hold handheld shots too long, especially ones that are at the end of the zoom and are shakey
Positives: Great job. Direction was very good. Followed the action quite well. The technical quality was good. The commentary was good and entertaining. Fun to watch.
Improvements: I would change a thing. Nice work.
