Judge 1

Positives: Interesting imagery, compositing, and blending of layers.

Improvements: Try to give this a more organic and 3D feel. Try pushing your imagination. This is a good start. What do you see in your mind's eye when you expand the concept of this project?

Judge 2

Positives: Great atmosphere, and use of complex layers. An impressive display of visual story telling, of the beginning and end of one's life. It really helps that this isn't lost on the audience. Music fits in perfectly, and only adds to the atmosphere.

Improvements: Could have been a little longer. The animation style was rather boring, as images just simply moved from one side of the screen to the other. As complex as the layers were, I expected the same amount of complexity used for the actual animation.

Positives: Nice job working in the few photos, good concept for the film

Improvements: Perhaps some movement for the people.
