A show about Barrington facts based upon the famous show Cash Cab hosted by BHS Student Bryan Dolan.
Positives: The "host" did a good job with his energy level. The camera angles were well placed, although a camera angle near the back of the car would have given more variety.
Improvements: This video consisted of students answering questions while driving to random locations. I'm assuming any humor that existed was all based on inside jokes at the school. When planning and executing a video, it is easy to fail long before a camera is turned on by not considering who your audience was. I'm sure students at BHS would enjoy this video, but it doesn't carry any weight outside of the school.
Positives: You captured the basic look and feel of the Cash Cab series. Even though you lost sync at times, the audio was pretty clean considering you were in a moving vehicle.
Improvements: I realize this video is intended for a specific audience, but unless there are inside jokes I'm not perceiving, you lacked humor. You need something for laughter....maybe some parody sight gags from Cash Cab?? Even if it's a reality type video, you should avoid showing the audio guy. My eye kept being drawn to the mic waving around. The "curtain" should be closed behind the stage. The audience needs to feel like they are in the cab with you.
Positives: This was edited well and showed the movement very well...didn't overly rely on parody and was topical
Improvements: Each person could have been individually mic'd...at least the host should have had a separate mic...sound suffered because of this, but it was made up for in good shot composition and editing
