A group of people under the impression they were being filmed for a recycling special got a whole different experience.
Positives: The use of music and opening slates worked well to set the mood. I also liked the separation of clips with the "static" screen. I laughed the hardest at the girl who threw the can at the kid jumping out of the bin and the replay was funny.
Improvements: This project lacks content. I think there was a very good idea here, but it was only shown in one form. Other scenes should have been used to help with the variety. There needed to be better audio on the "victims".
Positives: There was only one punchline but I enjoyed it to the end. The opening font selection for graphics, white noise transition, and the closing "out take" were a nice touch. It gave it a completed feel.
Improvements: The old school Vincent Price laughter and organ music didn't fit the contemporary horror shtick. I'm not sure you shot on a bad camera or you were going for the "dirty" look, but it was distracting. Make sure you shoot good video and then doctor it all you want in post. But make sure it's easy to watch.
Positives: Well edited and executed...doesn't drag...was kind of waiting for a bigger ending, though...naturally funny without acting out
Improvements: Didn't really tell a story, though there are things that could have been done narration-wise or with c/g to have accomplished that better.
